The flexible CL4710 for the business class

The innovative business class seat features a legrest that is adjustable in both length and angle, which automatically adapts to each passenger’s individual leg position, therefore enabling relaxed sitting and reclining. Additionally, each seat has its own armrests – so there is no sharing with seat neighbors. Thanks to the backrest’s generous recline, the comfortable multi-layer seat padding and the individually adjustable headrest, the passenger can enjoy an exceptionally comfortable resting position. The flexibly adjustable headrest ideally supports the neck and allows the passenger to make use of the side support, resting their head.

“The CL4710 is the CL4400’s successor model. With this innovative aircraft seat, Recaro Aircraft Seating is expanding its business class offering for short- and medium-haul flights,” explains Jochen Lohrmann, Head of Innovation Management at Recaro Aircraft Seating. “Our focus was on the combination of superb comfort and comprehensive functionality to satisfy the most discerning passenger needs – and all this at an optimized weight of approximately 27 kilos per seat.”

Thanks to the CL4710’s functional innovations, passengers can organize their seat as an ideal workplace – with all controls within easy reach. From the outer console, a generously sized table with a tablet holder can be extended over half or the entire seat surface. Power, audio and USB ports are integrated into the center console – making them easily accessible without restricting the living space. With the Passenger Control Unit (PCU), the high-quality, up to 13-inch video screen can be operated conveniently and intuitively.
