Recaro Aircraft Seating donates to Unicef

“Together for Children – in line with this theme, Unicef works with partners around the globe to support the rights of each individual child. We sincerely thank Recaro Aircraft Seating for helping to make this possible,” said Eric Mayer, Head of the Corporate Partnerships and Major Donor department in the Unicef Fundraising division. Mayer accepted the check from CEO Axel Kahsnitz and CFO Andreas Lindemann at Recaro Aircraft Seating headquarters in Schwaebisch Hall.

“Unicef is a well-known organization committed to society worldwide – and this is what convinced us,” Kahsnitz explained. Recaro Aircraft Seating coupled the financial contribution to a recently completed customer satisfaction survey in which the company received numerous responses. For each questionnaire completed, the aircraft seat manufacturer agreed to donate a specific amount of money to the Children’s Fund. “We were very pleased to see that this generated a substantial sum for Unicef,” said Kahsnitz. “In the face of the current hunger crisis in East Africa, we decided to double the amount to a total of 10,000 Euros.”
