LOT places first seat order for new aircraft
Economy class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating for Polish airline
“We attach great importance to progress, quality and comfort. The site in Poland was crucial for us to have Recaro produce the seats for our B737 aircraft,“ says Rafał Milczarski, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. In just eight months, a total of 186 BL3710 economy class seats will be produced for LOT. Rafał Milczarski confirmed that delivery of the aircraft fully equipped with Recaro seats is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.
At a joint event with Rafał Milczarski, Dr. Mark Hiller, Chief Executive Officer and Shareholder of Recaro Aircraft Seating highlighted: “We are very proud of this first order from LOT. Especially when you have a Polish production site for aircraft seats and now for dress covers as well, an order from the national airline represents an outstanding vote of recognition in our performance.”
The new BL3710 economy class seat from Recaro Aircraft Seating sets itself apart with an ideal balance between lightweight design and comfort. It weighs less than ten kilograms and fully meets Recaro’s exacting quality standard. The BL3710 enables airlines to offer their customers outstanding comfort and to benefit from economic efficiency.
With numerous equipment options, the seat can be adapted to individual airline requirements. A tablet holder and various comfort features are available with the BL3710, enabling the aircraft seat to be deployed for both short- and medium-haul routes.
