Hainan orders seats from Recaro for its A330 fleet

What Hainan Airlines especially appreciates about the aircraft seat manufacturer from Schwaebisch Hall are its power of innovation, quality and reliability. The Chinese airline has ordered seats from Recaro in the past for both its economy and business classes. These have included the CL4400 business seat and the BL3510 for the economy class.

Comfort and design were decisive factors

With its current large order, Hainan selected a lightweight yet very comfortable solution from Recaro. The airline – with 5-star Skytrax ranking – has opted for an innovation for which no less than 18 patents were filed during product development alone. In February, the CL3710 was honored with the "German Design Award 2016" in Gold, to name just one of the many awards the seat has received. "We are delighted that the seat also scored top marks with decision-makers at Hainan Airlines. We are very much looking forward to further common successes. The order for the Airbus A330 is an ideal platform to take on everything the future will bring," says René Lux, Recaro’s Vice President Sales Asia-Pacific.
