Major business class order for Recaro Aircraft Seating

Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. Malaysia Airlines ordered business class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating. 15 new aircraft will be equipped with Recaro Comfort Line 6510 seats. The airline took delivery of its first aircraft equipped with Recaro seats at a festive ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on April 14, 2011.

“We are pleased to welcome Malaysia Airlines as a new customer,” says Recaro Aircraft Seating CEO Axel Kahsnitz. “The airline opted for our proven business class seat which, for many years, has been setting standards for excellent design and outstanding comfort.”

Recaro Aircraft Seating is supplying Malaysia Airlines with longrange business class seats for its Airbus A330-300 fleet. The CL6510 features remarkably versatile kinematics: The advanced Recaro actuation system lets passengers enjoy optimum support by adjusting the seat position according to their individual needs. Another benefit of the CL6510 is the fact that it maximizes available living space. Even in tight spaces, the “Full Flat” seat can be extended to a bed length of up to 6.5 feet. The fixed privacy shell makes it possible to adjust the seat without disturbing neighboring passengers.
