Recaro honors suppliers of the year
FORT WORTH, USA – For the 10th year, Recaro Aircraft Seating invited its suppliers from all over the world to its Global Supplier Conference. More than 100 individuals from 55 companies attended the event on Tuesday, May 15th, this time at the company’s US site in Fort Worth, Texas. At the event, Recaro honored the suppliers of the year for 2018 and for the first time, an innovation category was launched.

A successful business year: Recaro Aircraft Seating increases production by 15 percent
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany – With annual sales of 487 million euros, Recaro Aircraft Seating increased its sales last year once again. The German company produced 120,000 seats, increasing its volume by close to 15 percent compared to the previous year. Overall, the world leader in economy class seats is highly successful, with revenue growing at an average annual rate of more than ten percent over the last fifteen years – compared to the average market growth of five percent. The order books are well-filled for the next three years.

Premium seat manufacturer’s young product profile is highlight of AIX 2018
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany – Recaro Aircraft Seating closed out the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2018 in Hamburg with strong interest in its young product portfolio. A number of new orders were announced at the three-day trade fair with major global carriers, including Avianca, Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, China Southern, Donghai Airlines, GOL Linhas Aéreas, Juneyao Airlines, Peach, Ruili Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SpiceJet, and WOW air. The world market leader in economy class seats also presented a CL6710 business class design study and an interactive Customer Service Life Cycle Wall.

China Southern equips A350-900 aircraft with Recaro seats in all classes
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany / GUANGZHOU, China – China Southern is ordering all aircraft seats for its new A350-900 fleet from Recaro Aircraft Seating. The scope of delivery includes a total of 6,200 Recaro CL6710 lightweight seats for the business class, PL3530 for the premium economy class and CL3710 for the economy class. This is a first for the CL6710 in the new A350.

The lightweight SL3510 seat to premiere in the Asian growth market
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany / OSAKA, Japan – Japanese airline Peach, a subsidiary of ANA Holdings (ANAHD), is increasing its fleet size and ordering the SL3510 from Recaro Aircraft Seating for 14 aircraft. The lightweight seat will be deployed for the first time in the Japanese market in early 2019 – in the Airbus A320 CEO and Airbus A320 NEO in the airline’s economy class.
