“Focus Gold” award for Recaro Aircraft Seating
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. Great success for Recaro Aircraft Seating in the "Focus Open International Design Award" competition: The aircraft seat supplier received the "Focus Gold" award in the "Transport/Traffic" category for the outstanding design quality of the CL3710 seat. The award was presented to company representatives in Ludwigsburg, Germany, on October 16, 2015. The economy class seat will be on display in the Design Center Stuttgart exhibition at the MIK Museum from October 17 to November 22, 2015.
easyJet orders Recaro lightweight seat SL3510
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. easyJet has ordered 30,000 additional Recaro seats, both to retrofit its current A320 fleet and to equip new aircraft. The airline is relying on the proven lightweight seat SL3510, which will be delivered with further innovative features like a tablet PC holder. The two companies have agreed on an extension of the exclusive partnership: easyJet will equip its aircraft solely with Recaro seats in the coming years.

Fort Worth, Texas. Recaro Aircraft Seating is celebrating a production milestone at its American site. The 200,000th seat rolled off the assembly line at the Recaro plant in Fort Worth on August 20, 2015 – it was a BL3520 economy class seat for the customer WestJet Airlines.
