Recaro to deliver 5,600 CL3710 economy seats for Delta Air Lines’ new A350 aircraft
FORT WORTH, Texas. Delta Air Lines is outfitting its new long-haul aircraft from Airbus with the winner of the 2016 German Design Award, the CL3710 from Recaro Aircraft Seating. The German seating manufacturer’s standout product for economy class cabins will fly on 25 new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline has ordered a total of 5,600 Recaro seats.

Shandong Airlines orders 6,000 seats for its new Boeing 737 MAX fleet
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany, and JINAN, China. The Chinese airline Shandong Airlines is further expanding its collaboration with Recaro Aircraft Seating. The company has placed an order for 6,000 units of Recaro’s CL4400 and BL3530 seats, which it will use to outfit its 34 new shipsets of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This is the third collaboration with Recaro since 2013 when Shandong Airlines was the launch customer for the Recaro site in China.

First A320neo delivery with Recaro seats for easyJet
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany – easyJet has taken delivery of the first new A320neo aircraft, equipped with the comfortable, lightweight SL3510 seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating. easyJet ordered 20,000 of the maintenance-friendly economy class seats from Recaro to equip 130 A320neo family aircraft. The lightweight seat reduces aircraft weight and therefore CO2 emissions.
