WestJet opts for Recaro

SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany / CALGARY, Canada – Recaro Aircraft Seating has received an order for 4,700 economy and business class seats from WestJet. The Canadian airline is equipping ten Boeing long-haul aircraft with CL3710 seats. For short and medium-haul routes, Recaro will also be supplying BL3520 economy class seats and CL4710 business class seats for ten of the airline’s aircraft. The seat deliveries will begin in 2018.

Recaro honors suppliers of the year

FORT WORTH, USA – For the 10th year, Recaro Aircraft Seating invited its suppliers from all over the world to its Global Supplier Conference. More than 100 individuals from 55 companies attended the event on Tuesday, May 15th, this time at the company’s US site in Fort Worth, Texas. At the event, Recaro honored the suppliers of the year for 2018 and for the first time, an innovation category was launched.

A successful business year: Recaro Aircraft Seating increases production by 15 percent

SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany – With annual sales of 487 million euros, Recaro Aircraft Seating increased its sales last year once again. The German company produced 120,000 seats, increasing its volume by close to 15 percent compared to the previous year. Overall, the world leader in economy class seats is highly successful, with revenue growing at an average annual rate of more than ten percent over the last fifteen years – compared to the average market growth of five percent. The order books are well-filled for the next three years.
