Recaro Aircraft Seating and Avolon, the global aircraft Lessor, have secured a deal for twenty (20) shipsets of the Recaro BL3530 SPRINT seat for use on aircraft in the transition market
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, December 1, 2020 – Avolon has agreed with Recaro Aircraft Seating an order for twenty shipsets of the SPRINT seat, consisting fifteen (15) shipsets for use on A320 aircraft and five (5) shipsets for the B737NG aircraft; the seats will be delivered in the first half of 2021.

Recaro Aircraft Seating reveals KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as the new launch customer for SL3710 seat on Embraer and Boeing aircraft
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, November 18, 2020 – Recaro Aircraft Seating has revealed KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) as the launch customer for the SL3710 economy class seat on Embraer and Boeing aircraft. KLM ordered more than 5,500 seat pax of the SL3710 and nearly 2,000 seat pax of the BL3710, which are slated for delivering starting in February 2021. The Recaro seats will be retrofitted on a number of Embraer E190 and Boeing B737-800, and will be linefitted on the Embraer E195.

Recaro Aircraft Seating CL3710 and CL5710 to take flight on Middle East Airlines’ A320 fleet
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, October 8, 2020 – Recaro Aircraft Seating has been selected by Middle East Airlines (MEA) to equip its fleet of 11 Airbus aircraft with CL3710 and CL5710 seats. Delivery started on July 11, 2020, and MEA most recently received the A321 MSN 10.000 aircraft.

Recaro CL3710 economy class seat takes flight on Gulf Air’s new A321neo
Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, September 22, 2020 – Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CL3710 economy class seat is taking flight on Gulf Air’s new A321neoLR aircraft. This is the first of 29 aircraft to be equipped with the CL3710 seat, which are slated for delivery over the next five years. The CL3710 combines lightweight material with ergonomic design, appealing to both airlines and long-haul passengers.
