3530Swift economy class seat takes off
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany. The 3530Swift is on the rise, with four customers ordering the innovative economy class seat from RECARO Aircraft Seating and Airbus. This is the first time that airlines are equipping their Airbus aircraft with SFE seating ("supplier-furnished equipment"). With these new orders, RECARO Aircraft Seating continues its growth course, thanks to Lean manufacturing, outstanding operational performance, innovative strength and a strong global brand.

Recaro’s economy class seat wins gold
SCHWAEBISCH HALL, Germany. On February 12, 2016, Recaro Aircraft Seating received the gold “German Design Award 2016” in Frankfurt, Germany. The CL3710 economy class seat won against strong international competitors in the “Public Design” category. The German Design Council honors exceptional international design with its gold premium award.

“The Asia-Pacific region is of major strategic importance for us”
Schwaebisch Hall. RECARO Aircraft Seating has appointed Irene Tan General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region effective February 1, 2016. She manages the business operations in this region from a new site in Hong Kong into which the Sales Department for Asia-Pacific is also integrated. With this step, the company is reinforcing its regional expertise and will be able to even more flexibly respond to the individual needs of customers in this region.
